| Engine compartment before. | |
This
is what I took home when I bought the car.. |
pretty
basic huh.. |
| Engine compartment as time moves on..... | |
As
I have purchased a 327 for this car I have not done too much concerning
the firewall/inner fenders etc.. |
I
forgot to paint the thermostat housing..oh well ..I will get it correct
on the 327. |
| Wheels before. | ||
The
chevy caps look great on Chevy's. I had to get rid of them for the Beaumont
though.. |
||
| Wheels after. | |
The
wheels still need to be repainted. I think though that for disc brakes
I may need to go to a 15" rim....research in progress. |
Try finding these suckers! After about
two monthes of searching I finally paid the guy his $80. I then cleaned,
polished and repainted the centres. I bought repro hub caps to put the
centres on.

| Interior before. | |
Too
bad about that gold...It would look very nice with the proper exterior
color...unfortunatly the only exterior color I like with the gold is black.
I don't think I have it in my budget to get the body straight enough to
pull off black though...so the interior is going black instead. |
|
| Interior after. | |
| I have changed the package tray, armrests, ashtrays, dome light and given everything a good cleaning..none of this really shows up in the photos though so I'll post some after I go black. |
| Trunk before. | |
Note
the rags covering up the rust holes in the bottom of the inner wheel wells.
The trunk brace to frame mount is also shot is has to be replaced. |
|
| Trunk after. | |
| (nothing done yet except a little rust-mort applied where neccesary). |
etc...
