The Progress...

gotta wait till the end of September before I can really get moving..

Engine compartment before.
This is what I took home when I bought the car.. pretty basic huh..
Engine compartment as time moves on.....
As I have purchased a 327 for this car I have not done too much concerning the firewall/inner fenders etc.. I forgot to paint the thermostat housing..oh well ..I will get it correct on the 327.
Wheels before.
The chevy caps look great on Chevy's. I had to get rid of them for the Beaumont though..

Wheels after.
The wheels still need to be repainted. I think though that for disc brakes I may need to go to a 15" rim....research in progress.

Try finding these suckers! After about two monthes of searching I finally paid the guy his $80. I then cleaned, polished and repainted the centres. I bought repro hub caps to put the centres on.

Interior before.
Too bad about that gold...It would look very nice with the proper exterior color...unfortunatly the only exterior color I like with the gold is black. I don't think I have it in my budget to get the body straight enough to pull off black though...so the interior is going black instead.
Interior after.
I have changed the package tray, armrests, ashtrays, dome light and given everything a good cleaning..none of this really shows up in the photos though so I'll post some after I go black.

Trunk before.
Note the rags covering up the rust holes in the bottom of the inner wheel wells. The trunk brace to frame mount is also shot is has to be replaced.
Trunk after.
(nothing done yet except a little rust-mort applied where neccesary).
